Some things never change. Like the classical peanut butter and jelly, sure its been around for like... EVER, but it still tastes the same, absolutely wonderful! The same could be said of Minako Aino, though not about the tasting wonderful thing, though if you wanna try... Well she'd rather you not bother. You see, while Minako has moved around a fair amount of time, she's a creature of habit. Sure she likes some change, but over all she's not too fond of it. Really and honestly, she could do with out it.
Enough said on that though, Minako walked through a strang of people as she made her way to her favorite place, still after all these years, the Crown Arcade. Though the games have changed over the years, Minako still found them all to be great fun. She knew it was weird to be 18 and still into video games, like she was, but she didn't care. She wasn't all about what the others thought of her. The only options she cared about where her fellow Senshi's, and they didn't seem to care one bit about her loving the arcade.
Once she got passed the crowde, she found the arcade enternce and promptly entered. She greeted the well known staff of the arcade before making her way to the brand new Sailor V IV: Attack of the Black Hearts. She still found it amusing that sailor v, her former self, was still so popular. Sitting down, she placed her quater in the mechine and started playing the already fimiular game.
" Take that, and that, and a little of that." She said as the game progressed. She started throwing her body into the game, with each kick or punch she jerked a little, though she didn't seem to notice it. " Hahahaha! Your soo goin' down!" She said with a menicing laughter that was common for the Goddess of Love to make while playing video games. It was generally when she was really into it and about to beat the main evil guy on any given game.

Travis Montage was a foreighn student or rather youth, who came to Japan. In his studies he'd heard Japan was the most forward arching cultural craze-setting part of the world. It had lights and designs unlike the rest of the world. A smile he found himself wandering into the otherwise popular area, the arcade.
Travis secretly was a lust for gaming. Yet his family strictly enforced the ideals that no one was meant to do anything less it be for profit, fame and tradition. To them the gaming world was a shame if not distraction from what real life is all about. Yet he was an enthusiast all the same and even now seemed to stroke his hand along the side of one of the oversized arcade machines.
A bit the marvel to him their stable frame and gargantuan sizes, Travis had hand-held games and never ones like these. He blinked as someone walked in and pushed in a coin, then played along. He was blinking... "Hmm..." he turned to the ones in the room. "Mmm..." Nervous, he looked for the nearest person in a orange jacket, a worker in the place. He seemed to follow him for several minutes eyes drawn down. His cheeks blushing as he tried to get the right grasp on things.
Finally the worker turned, and asked "Sup?"
"...." Travis was still, he then looked up with a smile. "Ca-can I get... some... coins?"
The man smiled, "Sure. You just have to exchange them in the machine." To that, he points to the side.
Travis nods and walks to it, inspecting it. Oh dear... it's a yen based currency... he still had his American currency. "Hmm..."
The worker was cleaning when Travis returned asking, "How much would 100 dollars be in Yen?"
The worked turned to see the 100 dollar bill... he blinked, asking, "You have anything smaller?"
"No..." he pouts... to which the worked sighed and said he can't really change that. They don't accept anything but their currency. A bit saddened Travis walked off but he soon found himself stopped. He looked at the one person in the place seeming to jump, and smash the controls. Then a few blinks he pulled out his glasses and flicked them open settling them on his nose. Watching he smiled. "Wow..." he walked in closer... and closer... in fact, almost in range that if she were to move a arm or elbow a WEE bit higher, POW!!!!

Playing video games was like breathing, in Minako's highly esteemed option. One simply couldn't do without playing them constantly, just like you can't keep living if you don't remember to breath. Twisted logic if you asked her, but hay there it was. Minako hit the big green button that allowed her character to leap over a few of the enemies that were working on bringing her character down. She, of course, was playing herself, Sailor V. Like all normal video games, there were other characters to choose from.
Concidently, they were the other sailor senshi that were added to the game. Amazing how she was no longer alone, and at present, thanks to Usagi being a senshi currently, not the leader, but the game was still named after her. Minako had found that amusing so many times, and because of the close friendship she enjoyed with the others, she had thoroughly rubbed that knowledge into their faces. Not meanly of course, but in a funny manner.
The senshi were tight with each other. There was a lot of stuff Minako would've never considered doing until she'd met them and experienced that close friendship. They had accepted her, even with her faults. It still amazed Minako when she thought about it, which honestly wasn't that often. How could someone instantly take in a friend without questions. More so when they saw the kinda things the senshi's saw on a daily bases. It wasn't juse them that took her in, but she took them in as well. She taught them what she knew and didn't judge them when she'd first met them. If she had, well... They were all a tad weird right?
With a left and a right, Minako pounded her way through level 6 of the Sailor V IV game. " Come back ya coward! " She yelled at the game as one of the attackers began taking off in the opposite direction, running away from Sailor V as she was whooping its butts.
Minako didn't notice the forgiener who'd entered the arcade with a 100 dollars of the wrong currancy. She certainly didn't notice the guy when he started looking over her shoulder. His closeness didn't even register on her sonar in all truthfullness. If she had taken the time to look up every once in a while, she would've known that he was far too close and that any small amount of movement on her part could hit him.
Something from, apparently, no where attacked her character. Minako's eyes widen with shock at the new attack. She hadn't been expecting it at all, but she dealt with the blow as gracefully as kicking its butt could go. Because she was accustomed to moving around as she played, and didn't know there was someone behind her, when she made her character throw a punch, her whole body went with it, and her arms moved up then out as she released the controller to move to an new button that would allow her to jump up.
That was when she felt her arm hitting something, or rather someone. It was surprising to say the least. Minakio quickly hit the pause button and turned around in her seat to take the person in fully. " Sorry." She apologized to the guy. " Why were you standing so close dude? " She questioned.

While reeled out on the floor Travis moaned a bit and rubbed his face. "Well..." He started as he then looked to her, fingers lacing his face as his palm pushed on his nose to hold any blood luckily he was not bleeding. "I just thought you were doing so well. And I thought, if she can play that well and I can't, I might as well watch."
Travis pulled back his hand and blinked his blue orbs at the hand now without blood he was pleased. Standing he pulled out a set of glasses and placed them on the bridge of his nose. "Anyhow... so your incredibly talented. I mean, everyone else is going thru motions but you seem to be living as much playing the game. I do that, with my handheld." Now he grabbed at his back pocket and frowned. Turning he saw a crushed heap and he sighed, slumping at the shoulders and leaning in on his chest, "Oh dear..."
Travis tried to look at the girl and fake some smile. "SO... uhh... tell me, what game is this?" He turned to it, and thingyed his head, "Is it an adventure game... is it, puzzle... or..." he leaned in too closely and pushed his hand on the panel suddenly pressing the pause button. This... so happen, to unpause her long enough for the next attack to blast her and the character she was playing was destroyed. The words "Game Over" blinked across the screen in large, orange letters flashing with the background.
"...." Travis blushed, "Oops..."

Minako lifted her brow as she watched him suffer through some pain that she had caused him because he had been standing all too close when she'd made a movement. She smiled as he answered her question. ' Gotta love that answer!' She thought to herself. " Nice answer, buddy." She said with a small laugh. His next words caused her a brief pause in smile.
She listened to what he was saying. 'If only he knew how real life some of this things are, and how I've fought things like these on the video game.' She heistated before she decided to speak. " I suppose its because of how often I have played this game in the past. " She replied half truthfully. She knew the game inside and out, knew it because she'd played it so much, as well as lived it in part.
" Sailor V----------" She was in the middle of telling him the name of the game when he'd leaned down and unpaused her game, though by accident. She didn't turn around fast enough to save her character, but watched in dramatic horror as Sailor V was attacked and killed in the game. Minako's mouth dropped. A moment later she turned back around to look at Travis with what could only be considered a death glare.

Travis watched as the game ended in defeat. He realized he caused that... and he turned to Minako. When seeing her eyes in the glare of all death glares he affectionately, paused, and then asked, "Did I do that?"
As sitcom like it was he was now backing away, his eyes trying to differ along with the other machines and scenery. He was scared... she seemed angry. "I'm sorry... I just, I was curious. I really, really wish I did not do that. It was wrong of me, can, can I repay you? Would... you like me to, OH!" he smiled, and turned to her with his smile then slammed his fist in his palm, "I know," He nods his head, agreeing it's the best idea EVER! "How about I take you shopping! I'll buy you anything you want, okay? My treat!"

There was another male in the area. He was standing at an arcade machine and he looked like he was fighting intensely on the machine. The machine was 'Super Dragon Ball Z ' it was made from the people who did the Street Fighter games. He was fighting as one of the main characters. There was a crash heard in the game. He was slammed up against the wall by another character. His eyes were glued to the screen. It looked like he was getting mad. He wasn't winning and that really pissed him off.
Why did this game have to be so hard? The stupid combo system was irritating him. He got a few punches and kicks in. He than was slammed up against the wall again. He looked at the screen as he was defeated in battle. Why him? Why here? If people weren't watching it'd be okay. People WERE watching and he had to act cool. It was just a silly video game, right? Sure it was! No need to get all crazy over it.
He looked over towards the people near the Sailor V game. Hm, he's never played that game before. He never knew it existed. That was strange, wasn't it? He pushed the strands of his black hair out of his face. He walked over towards the Sailor V game. It looked like a woman and a man were talking. He wondered if he should interupt and introduce himself? That'd be nice, right?
"Cool game." He said, walking over towards the two. "What's with the funny outfits thou?" He asked as he perked a brow slightly.
